## The mountains

Snowcat covers three mountains open to every rider: Bear Mountain, June Mountain and Mammoth Mountain. Two more are early resorts: Brighton and Snow Summit. Demo Mammoth is a demo mountain that is always open, so you can try the app out of season.

| Mountain | Where | Who can open it | Opening day | Lifts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear Mountain | California | Every rider | December 4, 2026, expected | 7 |
| June Mountain | California | Every rider | December 19, 2026, announced | 7 |
| Mammoth Mountain | California | Every rider | November 13, 2026, announced | 25 |
| Brighton | Utah | Riders who turn on early resorts | December 4, 2026, expected | 8 |
| Snow Summit | California | Riders who turn on early resorts | December 4, 2026, expected | 11 |
| Demo Mammoth | Demo mountain | Riders who turn on early resorts | Always open | 25 |

Read from the LiftLine database on October 28, 2026. Opening days come from each resort; “expected” means the resort hasn’t confirmed it yet.

A mountain is listed here when you can use it, not when we start work on it. LiftLine AI is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mammoth Mountain, Alterra Mountain Company, Vail Resorts, Ikon Pass, Epic Pass, or any ski resort.

## Early resorts

An early resort is a mountain still being added. Its lift status, waits, crowd levels and Liftie’s reports may be wrong, sometimes badly, so check with the resort before you rely on them.

Early resorts are off until you turn them on. Sign in to your LiftLine AI account, open Settings, turn on **Early resorts** and agree to the notice. They then work like any other mountain, notifications included, and you can turn them off at any time. If your home resort is an early resort, turning them off also clears your home resort.

## The same at every mountain

- Lift status from the resort, read every 15 minutes while it is open, every 5 minutes around first chair and every hour after close.
- Liftie’s rating on every named run, measured on 1 m lidar. Terrain parks show feature size instead.
- Every run’s numbers and slope chart.
- The 3D map with runs, lifts, sun and shadows, and search.
- Run status and grooming from the resort’s report, read once a day at 6:30 AM.
- Conditions every hour, from the resort’s report and a weather model.

## What differs by mountain

- **Cameras.** Some lifts have a resort webcam on their line, and the number differs by mountain. The Cameras screen lists each camera and the lifts it covers.
- **Directions.** Some mountains have a few lift-to-lift journeys with no route yet.

## Per-mountain figures

**[Upcoming]** A table for each mountain, with its rated runs, cameras, routable lifts and the date its map was built. These figures will come from the published map packages, not be typed in, so they stay right as the maps change.
